Many questions were posed to Megastar Chiranjeevi and other members of the cast and crew. But there was one important question that the media politely skipped asking Chiranjeevi.
A huge controversy has been going on for many days about Dil Raju’s strategy of releasing his dubbed film Varisu/Vaarasudu in the maximum number of theaters despite knowing that Chiru’s Waltair Veeerayya and Balayya’s Veera Simha Reddy are also releasing in the same season. Both films need a maximum number of screens to achieve breakeven. But Dil Raju is not providing them the advantage and is giving preference to Vijay’s film, whose market is not even ten crores.
During Waltair Veerayya’s Q&A session, the media skipped asking this important and relevant question to Chiranjeevi. Maybe the media didn’t want to put Chiru in a tight spot and force him to make a statement that would have gone against the industry or Dil Raju.
This question would have certainly made him somewhat uncomfortable as he would never want to go against Dil Raju, who is the producer of his son’s next mega project. If he had made a statement that favored Dil Raju’s strategy, then the industry would have gone against him.
