Mega hero Varun Tej has played a safe bet. At a time when biggies and other films are reeling under pressure with the release date announcement, Varun Tej has outsmarted them. The actor’s upcoming film, Ghani has locked Diwali, the festive date as the release date.

The Ghani team announced the release date with the poster announcement arriving in theaters in Diwali. The team currently has no competition from other films. Secondly, the team is also confident that COVID cases would subside by then, and also the ticket pricing issue in the neighboring state (Andhra Pradesh) will be resolved.

On the other side, biggies like Chiranjeevi’s Acharya and Balakrishna’s Akhanda are still in a fix. While other films are gearing up with release date announcements, bot Acharya and Akhanda are clueless as to how to proceed.

Going by the aforementioned things, Varun Tej has locked a safe date for his sports-drama arrival. The film is produced by Allu Bobby, and Allu Arjun’s brother-in-law Sidhu Mudda. The film went on floors last year and July 30 was planned as the release date. Given the circumstances, the shoot got postponed.
