Mogilaiah of “Balagam” Fame Passes Away

The film Balagam, directed by Venu Yeldandi and produced under Dil Raju’s banner, created a massive impact in Telangana and gained significant recognition. The emotional climax song, “Thoduga Ma Thodundi,” deeply resonated with audiences, capturing their hearts.

The couple, Komramma and Mogilaiah from the Warangal district, who sang this song, became widely known across the state.

Tragically, Mogilayya passed away due to health issues on Thursday morning.

The film’s director, Venu Yeldandi, along with the film team and the government, provided financial assistance for Mogilaiah’s medical expenses. Recently, during the Ponnam Sattyya Award function, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar announced that the government would provide a house plot and construct a home for Mogilaiah’s family, as well as cover all medical expenses. Speaker Gaddam Prasad also extended financial support of ₹1 lakh.

Recently, Megastar Chiranjeevi also provided financial assistance after learning about Mogilaiah’s health condition, particularly during his kidney-related treatment at NIMS Hospital in Hyderabad.

The song will echo in the hearts of many Telugu people, forever remembered.
