‘Complete Actor’ becomes ‘Complete Disaster’!

Popular Malayalam actor Mohanlal recently voiced his opinions about the demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denominations and it seems like his fans are not entirely in support of what he said. The actor said that since the cause for demonetization is noble, the public should not see their difficulties as too painful.

The blog, titled ‘A big salute to virtuous India’, stated that “We stand in queue before liquor outlets, theatres and places of worship without any complaint. I think there is nothing wrong in standing in queue at a bank or ATM for a while for a good cause.”

However, this statement didn’t go down very well with the public, who believe that the actor does not realize the common man’s problems, and a there is a movement against the actor taking place on different social networking sites. With the opposing party Congress MLA VT Balram supporting the movement, the hashtag #the complete disaster is trending, as opposed to the actor’s usual nickname ‘Complete Actor’.
