More Hope For Baahubali 2 In China

The China release of Baahubali 2 has been officially confirmed some time back. Unlike the first part, there is a high chance of the sequel succeeding and the hope is further increased now.

A new Bollywood film Hindi Medium has been released in China on April 4th. The film stars a relatively unknown cast and crew for Chinese audience headed by Irfan Khan. And yet it has managed to usurp the opening days of movies starring Aamir Khan (Dangal) and Salman Khan (Bajarangi Bhaijaan). Hindi Medium had collected more than 3 Million on the opening day which is more than what the film managed to make in its lifetime in overseas when it came to cinemas last year.

Once again, what the performance highlights, is the acceptability of Bollywood movies in China. If Baahubali 2 also manages to strike a chord, it now can gross huge and reclaim the top Indian grosser worldwide slot dethroning Dangal.
