Mr Majnu is the third outing of Akkineni Akhil and the second from director Venky Atluri. The theatrical trailer is out, and it looks like a perfect culmination of both the actor and director sensibilities.
The first impression after watching the trailer is a positive one, but also one that is strictly appealing to the urban segment. In a way, it builds on the last film of the director (Tholi Prema) and the actor (Hello). It is also the reason why we can sense ease in the body language the dialogue delivery of Akhil. It feels like his zone. Now, all we have to see is if Venky Atluri has managed to build an engaging narrative around the personality and deliver the much-needed success.
