National Film Awards are the highest awards given in India to honour the best actors, filmmakers, and technicians across the many regional film industries. The 69th National Film Awards were announced today during a press conference by the Jury at the National Media Center, New Delhi.
Tollywood’s popular production house Mythri Movie Makers has won as many as three National Awards in different categories. Icon Star Allu Arjun wins the Best Actor award for Pushpa: The Rise directed by Sukumar.
The same movie won the Best Music Director Award. Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad provided a chartbuster album for the movie and he is also part of part 2 titled Pusha: The Rule.
Another movie Uppena won the best regional movie award in Telugu. No other production house ever in Telugu won so many awards in major categories.
DVV Cinemas won six awards in this edition but all of them for a single film – RRR.
