“This milestone…this number [₹1000 crores] is obviously massive for a young team like ours. But the fact that we achieved it without blood, gore, obscenity, provocative or exploitative content, means so much…a big thank you to the audience and the actors who stood behind us… Indian Cinema #Repatikosam,” he wrote.

Netizens think Nag Ashwin is targeting Sandeep Reddy Vanga and his Animal and are bashing the Kalki filmmaker left and right.
Some say Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s success is much bigger than Kalki’s for a matter of fact it was not achieved with a massive budget, VFX, Huge Star Cast including Bollywood Names, and the Mythological angle.

Some say Sandeep Reddy managed 300 Crore just with a love story and 1000 Crore with a commercial action drama and Nag Ashwin’s writing skills can not even be comparable to Vanga’s.
Some say Nag Ashwin is jealous as Vanga got a bigger and better image than him even after making a film like Kalki 2898D.
