Trailer talk: Funny montages missing the plot

Looking at the theatrical trailer of Kalyana Vaibhogame the immediate question that pops in one’s mind is where is this heading to? What’s the point? There are a series of funny shots put together that shows two contrasting characters living together but besides that there is nothing.

We have already seen in the teaser that hero isn’t interested in marriage so even that doesn’t come as a surprise in the end. If the idea to show how entertaining the film would be maybe then it is fine but still it would have served the makers better if a sense of a plot was shown than mere funny sequences stringed together.
