Cybercrime has become an increasingly serious threat and they are fining new ways to target well-known personalities and their families. Actor Nagarjuna has opened up on this issue and shared an incident which happened in his family own family.
Speaking at a press interaction, Nagarjuna revealed that one of his family members had been trapped in what is commonly described as a “digital arrest” for almost two days.
The fraudsters reportedly posed as officials and kept the victim under pressure through digital communication. but the entire scenario has been changed once the person approached Police. The actor used the incident which happened six months back to highlight how dangerous cybercrime has become.
Following the shocking experience, the actor said he plans to change his phone and Wi-Fi passwords frequently as a precaution against cyber threats. He has also taken an unusual step to protect his personal information by avoiding taking or storing pictures on his phone.
Nagarjuna’s decision now once again highlights how seriously he is taking the growing threat of cybercrime. With smartphones containing everything from personal photographs and contacts to sensitive information, he believes it is better to minimise the amount of private data stored on his device.
ప్రతి 15 రోజులకు Phone Password మార్చేస్తా…
Hack అవుతుందనే భయం… ఫోన్లో Photos కూడా పెట్టుకోను.
