“Make a strong comeback” has almost become the most common wish for TFI heroes these days. Interestingly, the list keeps getting longer, with several established names looking at their next films to turn the conversation around.
Nani has now entered that conversation after The Paradise failed to live up to the once-in-a-lifetime hype it generated. Considering the expectations surrounding the film, the “comeback” tag is understandable. But Nani’s case comes with an important difference: his credibility is still very much intact.
One film’s result doesn’t take away the audience trust he has built over the years. Nani still has the ability to bring audiences to theatres based on the promise of his next film, irrespective of how The Paradise turned out. His upcoming collaboration with Sujeeth, Bloody Romeo, will naturally come with considerable attention and expectations.
Beyond Nani, the comeback conversation currently includes a sizeable group of TFI heroes. Vijay Deverakonda, Ram, Siddhu Jonnalagadda, Sharwanand, Adivi Sesh, Sree Vishnu, Vishwak Sen, Sai Dharam Tej, Akhil Akkineni, Nikil, Nithin and Allari Naresh are among the names waiting for that next big turnaround.
What makes this list interesting is that none of these are newcomers trying to establish themselves. They are all actors who have already delivered, built their own identities, and shown what they can do.
For some, the next film could restore momentum. For others, it could simply be another step forward. Either way, TFI currently has a rather interesting comeback queue, and the list could get even longer before it gets shorter.
