I Drank Beers to Put on Facial Weight for Trivikram

Apart from NTR’s stellar performance and Jagapathi’s Babu’s menacing acting in ‘Aravindha Sametha’, one actor who also is walking away with praises is Naveen Chandra who played Bali Reddy, son of Basi Reddy (Jagapathi Babu’s character in the movie). He played one of the villains alongside his father role essayed by JB.

Talking about his preparation for the role, the actor even suggested that he would drink beers to put on the facial weight to give the authentic look for the role he was offered by Trivikram. The director didn’t insist on drinking beers but just said that if he had understood the role, he can proceed in the way which Naveen Chandra thinks will be fine.

Anyway, the actor has been sporting a bearded look and that also suited him well for the character. Besides this, Naveen Chandra went to Rayalaseema to just understand the ambience and get the flow of the accent of the people’s talk there. All this preparation did really help the actor and as NTR said, Naveen Chandra has indeed done justification with his performance.
