Unreleased Big Film’s Song for Title

The song with lyrics ‘Neruppu Da’ from ‘Kabali’ went on to become a big hit among Tamil speaking audiences. The craze went to the extent that actor Vikram Prabhu who turned producer has launched his production house First Artist Company and named his first film as actor-producer as ‘Neruppu Da’.

The producer of ‘Kabali’ was more than happy to offer the rights of the title ‘Neruppu Da’ to Vikram Prabhu, the grandson of legendary Tamil actor Shivaji and the son of actor Prabhu (Prabhas’ father in ‘Darling’). The who and who of Tamil Film Industry were present at the launch event of the production house and the first film.

The Telugu version of the song ‘Neruppu Da’ was not even cared for, as it looked too loud and very bad. There is absolutely no buzz around the song in Telugu while in Tamil, the song had created a sensation of sorts. Care must have been taken for the Telugu version as well.
