Nithiin’s upcoming film Alias Rukmini has started rolling today, with the makers kickstarting the first schedule in Hyderabad. The team is currently shooting some key portions and is looking to complete a crucial chunk of the film in this schedule.
A major portion of the film is expected to be canned on specially designed indoor sets. The makers are reportedly planning the shoot in quick and tightly planned schedules so that the production can be wrapped without any major delays.
The Hyderabad schedule will focus on some important scenes that are said to be crucial to the story. Makers have kept most of the story details under wraps, Nithiin is said to be playing a character at the center of a story connected to Rukmini.
The team is also working on the production design and visual presentation, with specially created sets being used to give the film a distinct look. More details about the remaining cast and other characters are expected to be announced as the shoot progresses.
The makers are reportedly looking to complete the entire shoot in quick schedules and are targeting a theatrical release in the first half of 2027.
Dhandoraa fame Murali Kanth Devasoth is directing the film, while Jomon T. John is handling the cinematography and Vijai Bulganin is composing the music. Srujana Adusumilli is the editor, while the project is co-directed by Ramana Madhavaram.
The film is produced by Deepthi Ganta under Unanimous Productions, with Nani presenting the project.
