Actor Dileep, often hailed as the ‘Janapriya Nayagan’ of Malayalam cinema, is facing challenges as his recent films like ‘Pavi Caretaker’, ‘Bandra’, and ‘Thankamani’ fail to secure OTT deals.
Despite their theatrical releases months ago, these movies have not garnered interest from digital streaming services.
‘Thankamani’, a crime drama featuring Dileep, was anticipated to release on OTT platforms in April, but updates on its digital availability remain scarce. Bandra and Pavi Caretaker also await OTT deals, highlighting the Malayalam industry’s current struggle with OTT platforms.
