Not Anything New That’s The Only Thing Changed with Baahubali: Rana

Inarguably, the Baahubali franchise changed Indian cinema forever. The Baahubali films truly defined pan-India like never before. Speaking of this phenomenon, Baahubali’s Bhallaladeva, Rana Daggubati, recently said some interesting things in an interview.

Rana said that this phenomenon of people watching and celebrating South Indian films was prevalent even before. He took the examples of films like Roja, which were watched by a lot of North Indian audiences.

However, Rana said that with Baahubali, they really understood and learned how business was to be done in the North and even said that the marketing that was done in the North for a South Indian film was changed. Rana said that understanding the flow of business in the North really helped Baahubali scale the heights it did in the North.

Baahubali launched Prabhas to pan-Indian stardom, and Rana started to do more and more interesting roles following Baahubali.
