NTR’s highly anticipated SPY film War 2, co-starring Hrithik Roshan, is currently undergoing swift shooting in Mumbai.
Some time back, it was reported that War 2 would have a massive dance-off between both superstars. Now, it is learned that Vaibhavi Merchant will choreograph the song.
Vaibhavi Merchant is a National Award-winning choreographer. She has choreographed some of the best songs in Hindi cinema.
Her last big hit was Besharam Rang from Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone. However, her song from Tiger 3, Leke Prabhu Ka Naam, turned out to be a huge flop.
Vaibhavi’s style is more about grace and sensuality. Her choreography suits more to women-oriented dance numbers than masculine high-energy dance numbers.
Hrithik and NTR are two of India’s best dancing superstars and a dance-off song between them would be expected to be in the range of Naatu Naatu if not better than that.
Vaibhavi’s past works show that she might not be the perfect choreographer to handle such a song starring NTR and Hrithik.
Also, her choreography suits more to Bollywood stars than to south stars. So Hrithik might still look good dancing to Vaibhavi’s steps but we are not sure how NTR will adapt to her style or vice versa.
However, there’s potential for surprises, and Vaibhavi might deliver a spectacular dance sequence that showcases Hrithik and NTR’s exceptional dancing prowess in War 2.
