SS Rajamouli’s SSMB29 continues to face leaks despite the filmmaker’s attempts to maintain secrecy
In a surprising revelation, Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida confirmed that Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra are part of the project.

SS Rajamouli and the makers haven’t officially announced the cast and crew of the film except for Mahesh Babu’s name. They wanted to organize a big press meet to announce the names. But now Odisha Deputy CM has unintentionally stolen the thunder from the team of SSMB29.
The Deputy CM shared that after Pushpa 2 was filmed in Malkangiri, Rajamouli’s jungle adventure is now being shot in Koraput.

She revealed that Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka Chopra are playing key roles in the film. Parida highlighted how Odisha’s scenic beauty is attracting major filmmakers and boosting tourism.
“Before, Pushpa-2 in Malkangiri, and now, renowned director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming film SSMB29, starring South superstars Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with internationally acclaimed actress Priyanka Chopra, is being shot in Koraput,” she posted on X.

This revelation comes after a leaked video from the Odisha shoot went viral, showing Mahesh Babu kneeling before Prithviraj Sukumaran, who appeared to be in a wheelchair.
In response, the makers reportedly enforced a three-layer security system to prevent further leaks.
Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra recently revealed on social media that she’s back in India, sparking speculation that she’s here to shoot for SSMB29.
The film is being planned as a two-part epic, with the first installment set for release in 2027 and the second in 2029. Rajamouli’s silence on these leaks has only fueled more curiosity around this ambitious project.
