Before the release of ‘Evadu’ Charan’s 7th movie, there was a lot of talk if he could continue the seventh film lucky superstition like Pawan Kalyan, NTR and Mahesh Babu. Pawan’s ‘Kushi’, Mahesh’s ‘Okkadu’ and NTR’s ‘Simhadri’…not only these three star heroes, many of the top heroes seventh movies have been superhits. Giving strength to the superstition, Charan’s ‘Evadu’ & Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Manam’, their seventh movies have scored superhits.
Now the jinx of eighth film sentiment has befallen Charan. For Pawan ‘Jhohny’, for Mahesh ‘Nijam, for Chaitu ‘Autonagar Surya’, for Prabhas ‘Yogi’, for Bunny ‘Varudu’and for NTR ‘Andhrawala’…their respective eighth films have tanked miserably at the box-office. Though this sentiment holds good for cine folks who believe in sentiments, by common sense one can understand that the stories & scripts of the above said movies actually played spoil sport. With good buzz and a fresh family entertainer to serve this Dasara, Ram Charan by all means hopefully breaks the jinx of eighth movie contrary to his contemporaries.
