If “Devara” had come out on April 5, it would have been a nationwide sensation. There were holidays like Ugadi, Ramzan, Ambedkar Jayanti, and Sri Rama Navami, plus weekends. But it got postponed to October, and Vijay Deverakonda’s Family Star took its place on April 5.
Today, on April 5, fans are sad because they think “Devara” could have broken records if it had come out. They feel it would have been a huge hit on the pan-India level and could have taken a long time for other heroes to cross its records.
NTR fans feel like they missed a golden chance.
