The Tollywood box office saw two new theatrical releases today and they are Nikhil’s Spy and Sree Vishnu’s Samajavaragamana.
Coming to the OTT aspect of these two films, here is a brief report on the official OTT partners of these two mid range films.
Spy has sealed Amazon Prime Video as its official OTT streaming partner. Given the pan India appeal that the film was promoted to have, given the Subhash Chandrabose theme, Amazon could’ve paid a decent amount for the Nikhil starrer.
Then there’s Sree Vishnu’s comedy entertainer Samajavaragamana which is billed to be a full on comical film with shortcoming on story front.
The comedy caper has sealed Aha Video as its official OTT streaming partner. Aha has the knack of going after mid-range films and they are at it with this film now.
For now, the makers of both these films are hoping they get a good run at the ticket counters. The OTT release aspect will come to play at least after three weeks.
