If OG opens well and maintains momentum in its first week, the hiked ticket prices and strong collections could overshadow Kantara’s opening weekend. Still, the buzz around Kantara is huge, and its dubbed versions are expected to attract large crowds.
The high price of the dubbing rights means Kantara will need a wide release to recover costs. But securing enough screens could be challenging if OG becomes a blockbuster and continues dominating during its crucial first ten days.
