Just a few years ago, Sreeleela stormed into Tollywood with Dhamaka and became the industry’s most sought-after young actress. Her rise was so rapid that she sidelined Pooja Hegde, even replacing her in Guntur Kaaram.
However, now it looks like Sreeleela herself is facing a similar situation, with Bhagyashri Borse emerging as a major competitor.

Bhagyashri made her Tollywood debut with Mr. Bachchan, which was a disaster at the box office. Yet, looking at her current lineup, it’s clear that she is quickly gaining ground.
She is starring opposite Vijay Deverakonda in Kingdom, alongside Dulquer Salmaan in Kaantha, and has been roped in as the female lead for Venky Atluri’s film with Suriya. Additionally, she is also part of Ram Pothineni’s upcoming movie.

The biggest surprise, however, is the buzz that Bhagyashree has been finalized for Prashanth Varma’s ambitious project with Prabhas.
If true, this would be a major breakthrough, as all these are pan-India films. Getting such big projects in quick succession is no small feat, and it raises an important question: Did some of these roles originally belong to Sreeleela?

If this trend continues, Bhagyashri could further push Sreeleela out of the top league.
While Sreeleela still has her fan base, she will need a big blockbuster to cement her position again. Otherwise, it looks like history is repeating itself—this time with her on the receiving end.
Nithiin’s Robinhood is a very crucial film for Sreeleela. If she can score a big hit with that film, she might gain some lost ground. But if it fails, Sreeleela might slip further behind in Tollywood’s leading heroine race.
