Choreographer Jani Master, who is already facing sexual assault allegations, has found himself in deeper trouble as the police have now filed a case against him under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
According to the police, the victim complained that Jani had been sexually assaulting her ever since she was a minor. Thus, the cops filed charges against Jani under the POSCO Act.
The 21-year-old victim filed a complaint against Jani Master and accused him of repeatedly sexually assaulting her for the last few years. She worked as an assistant choreographer under Jani.
Additionally, she also accused Jani of sexually attacking her at her residence in Narsingi. The Narsingi police have filed a complaint and are investigating the case.
Meanwhile, Jani Master is currently absconding. Thus the police deployed four teams and intensified their search efforts to locate him.
Yesterday, representatives from the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce announced that they are also investigating the matter and have urged women in the industry to come forward with any complaints of sexual harassment they may be experiencing.
