However, the makers of a Malayalam movie had dubbed the movie in Tamil as ‘Vasuki’ and posters surfaced in Chennai city causing a big confusion among the producers who are continuing the strike. In this scenario, some producers protested in front of Nayantara’s house.

Actually, Nayantara has got nothing to do with the film’s release but she is leading lady of the film which was a hit in Malayalam. Though it must be the deed of the people who had bought the distribution rights, Nayantara had to bear the brunt of the Tamil producers.

Needless to say, till the strike is on, there wouldn’t be any releases and there wouldn’t be any exceptions.
