Will Superstar Rajinikanth’s Petta release simultaneously in Telugu along with the original Tamil version? It is the question doing the rounds among fans and trade circles in Telugu.

In the last fortnight, multiple versions have come out where Petta is either getting a delayed release or is being in talks for a buyout by different buyers. Usually, any one of the big names would have acquired the rights or at least agree to release on an advance basis, but Sankranthi time is different as there are many Telugu biggies scheduled and committed to by the same big names.
Recently there was a buzz that producer C Kalyan has taken the entire Telugu dubbing rights, but now it has turned out to be fake. Looking at the way things are progressing, this confusion game could be prolonged to keep Petta in the news and then we might hear of a proper release all of a sudden. It is all about getting the right amount of screens for the entire duration of the festival period. If that’s possible, Petta will be arriving, if not maybe it could be the first Rajinikanth movie to miss a simultaneous release.
