Ram Charan has been one of the hard-working heroes in Telugu cinema, but the kind of results that he had been tasting in recent past have not been up to the mark. This is largely due to the incapability of directors who are working with him.
What Charan badly needs at this point in time as a collaboration with a big director, who has his own reputation at stake to put in solid efforts for this project. This is something that his recent directors have been lacking.
So a collaboration with the likes of Aditya Dhar of Dhurandhar fame or Sukumar is the best possible outcome. As of now, even Aditya is free as he does not have any announced project coming up. So this might not be a bad option for Charan to explore.
Charan has the right physical demeanor and hard-working attitude to indulge in credible success so it must be a matter of time before a big collaboration happens and he’s rightly rewarded. But the responsibility is definitely on him to find the right director, who has a vision above normalcy.
For instance, we even have the case of Tamil director Nelson, who is a gifted dark comedy, commercial director. Charan can definitely explore this particular genre as well if he feels so.
But whatever might be the outcome, Charan needs a director with reputation for his next project, and this is a strictly non negotiable for him at this point.
