Ranabaali faces crucial Sunday box test!
Vijay Deverakonda‘s latest release Ranabaali is trying to hold well at the box office after its first two days. However, the film needs a strong jump in collections on Sunday to move closer to its breakeven target.
According to trade pundits, in the Telugu states, Ranabaali collected around Rs. 6 crores in distributor share on Day 1, followed by approximately Rs. 4.5 crores on Day 2. This takes the two-day total in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to Rs. 10.5 crores in share, with gross collections estimated at Rs. 18-19 crores, including GST.
In North America, the film’s premieres and Day 1 gross stood at $437K. This includes $262K from premieres alone. The second-day North American gross is estimated at around $165K.
Ranabaali collected around $820K, or approximately Rs. 7.7 crores in overseas gross, in its first two days, which is not impressive.
According to trade estimates, Ranabaali has collected around Rs. 27 crores in worldwide gross after two days.
The film’s reported estimated breakeven target stands at approximately Rs. 90 crores in worldwide gross, depending on the final settlements and distribution terms.
That leaves Ranabaali with a massive distance to cover. The current hold offers little hope, and the film cannot afford major drops in the coming days.
