"Censor should be open-minded on kiss scenes"

Upcoming Bollywood movie ‘Tamasha’ is back in the talks regarding its longest kissing scene. Apparently, this particular scene in the Ranbir-Deepika starrer flick was censored because of its lengthiness. Fun fact, this steamy lip-lock scene was even longer than the kissing scene between actors Aamir Khan and Karishma Kapoor in the super hit film ‘Raja Hindustani’.

In a reaction to the censoring of the kiss, the ex-lovers said that it’s not very surprising to them. The lead stars said that while they respect the CBFC’s decision, it would be helpful if the Censor Board became more open minded and lenient where films are concerned.

Both the actors agreed that the kissing scene was not integral to the story line and hence cutting it out didn’t affect the film much. The film will be releasing on 27th November under Imtiaz Ali’s direction.
