Ratha Yatra: Nagabandham Turns Into Devotional Gathering

The makers of Nagabandham have chosen an unconventional path to connect with audiences. Instead of relying solely on traditional promotions, the team has launched the Anantha Padmanabha Swamy Ratha Yatra. The yatra commenced in Hyderabad and drew an impressive crowd despite relentless rain. Devotees, families, and movie enthusiasts gathered in large numbers, creating an atmosphere that felt more like a devotional gathering than a film event.

Hero Virat Karrna described the response as deeply moving and said the affection shown by the public strengthened the team’s belief in the project. He revealed that Nagabandham represents nearly two years of dedicated effort from the entire cast and crew and expressed confidence that audiences would experience something special when the film arrives in theatres.

Virat also credited director Abhishek Nama for entrusting him with a role in what he called a dream venture. He appreciated producers Kishore Annapureddy and Nishitha Nagireddy for backing a project of this scale with conviction and thanked his co-star Nabha Natesh for her support throughout the journey.

For director Abhishek Nama, however, the yatra carries a purpose larger than cinema. He explained that the initiative was conceived as a reminder of the country’s timeless traditions and spiritual values. According to him, Nagabandham is not merely a film but an attempt to rekindle interest in cultural roots and inspire younger generations to cherish and preserve them.

“Virat displayed exceptional dedication throughout the production, overcoming immense physical challenges and giving his absolute best. Once audiences watch the film, they will witness his true calibre.”

A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of a magnificent idol of Lord Anantha Padmanabha Swamy, which became a focal point for devotees and visitors. The spiritual experience added a unique dimension to the proceedings and reinforced the film’s cultural essence.
