It wasn’t long before Ravi Teja was struggling to pull the audience to theatres in big numbers. In fact, it has become tough for Ravi Teja to put even reasonable numbers on the first day as the audience steadily moved away from him.
But now the exact same, Ravi Teja is delivering mental madness at the box office with Irumudi. The film went on an outrageously positive run on the opening day at the box office.
The evening and night shows were an absolute fire with advances being reported all across the Telugu states.
The Ayyappa sentiment and the subsequent communal connect appear to have clearly worked in favour of the film. There are complaints about the pacing of the screenplay but that’s understandable.
However, that is not stopping the audience from turning up in massive numbers to watch Ravi Teja in action.
The estimates are suggesting that this film could be opening in the vicinity of ₹25 crore gross on the opening day. This will be the all-time biggest opening number for Ravi Teja.
At this rate, the film is very much on track to touch the ₹100 crore mark and could be the first film from Ravi Teja to genuinely touch this mark without much inflations from producers side.
The best thing is that the film has opened on a sensational note on the second day as well, considering the advance bookings in major pockets opened on a supremely positive note. A big Saturday and Sunday are nearly guaranteed for this film.
