Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reportedly set to tie the knot on Thursday, February 26, 2026. The wedding is said to be taking place in grand style at Mementos by ITC Hotels. According to reports, the couple has invited only a limited number of guests to keep the ceremony private and intimate.
Sources suggest that the mehndi ceremony has already been completed, while the haldi and sangeet celebrations are being held lavishly on Wednesday, February 25.
As the celebrations continue, discussions have also come up again in the Kannada film industry about Rashmika’s early career and past associations. Rashmika made her acting debut with Kirik Party, directed by Rishab Shetty. During the making of that film, she developed a relationship with actor Rakshit Shetty, and the two got engaged in July 2017 in a private ceremony.
However, the engagement was called off in September 2018, with both sides citing compatibility issues. After the separation, they moved on professionally and focused on their respective careers.
Recently, after visiting the Raghavendra Swamy temple in Mantralayam, Rishab Shetty interacted briefly with the media. When asked whether he had been invited to Rashmika’s wedding, he chose not to comment and simply said “Thank you” and immediately turned away and moved on. Given his close friendship with Rakshit Shetty, many observers felt it was natural for him to avoid discussing the matter publicly and creating unnecessary controversy.
Meanwhile, Rashmika and Vijay are reportedly preparing to begin a new chapter in their lives, surrounded by close family and well-wishers, as the wedding festivities continue.
