Without any doubt the sequel of Robo, Robo 2 is going to be the most anticipated movie of all time in South India when it gets on sets. It is still long way to go but right now there seems to be some issues with the film getting on sets.

Couple of incidents has happened in the recent past that has put fans in a confused state. First it was director Shankar meeting the special effects team, this union of sorts of the core technical team sparked off the rumors that Robo 2 has unofficially commenced its pre-production work. However with days of that Sun Pictures team which produced the original declared that they aren’t producing the film and nothing is in works as of now.
While the former incident lifted the spirit of the fans, the later announcement has disappointed them. A change of producers is assured now, the question is who will put that massive money on the film. The makers of Vijay starrer Kaththi are said to be interested but nothing official is known yet.
