Ramayana Inside Reports: Will Great Visuals Be Enough?

Ramayana Part 1 alleged inside report claims

An alleged inside report on Bollywood’s magnum opus Ramayana Part 1 claims that the film looks impressive visually but falls short in screenplay, emotional depth and casting. These claims remain unverified and should not be taken too seriously. The actual response will become clear only after the film’s release on November 5.

According to the inside report, the screenplay feels slow and weak. Both Ram and Ravana’s entry sequences reportedly run for 15 minutes each, while the Sita-Ram conversation, the arrow sequence and the Ram-Ravana fight lack the expected impact. The Ram Setu sequence in the climax is highlighted as a major moment.

The report also claims that Arun Govil, Ravi Dubey, Rakul Preet and Vivek Oberoi leave little impression. Sai Pallavi‘s portrayal of Sita is also identified as a drawback, with the report suggesting that audiences may not fully feel her pain following her abduction. The Jatayu sequence, however, could deliver an emotional impact.

The Swayamvar sequence and a few songs are among the positives. However, the film reportedly loses momentum once the Vanvaas portion begins. The action is mounted on a grand scale, but some sequences allegedly lack impact, while Lanka’s visuals fall short of expectations.

The background score and music are said to be decent, but the emotional connection is reportedly missing.

The report also questions whether the film’s limited number of major locations justifies its massive budget.

Overall, the alleged report suggests that Ramayana could impress with its visuals and technical scale but struggle with its casting and emotional depth. It also raises questions about whether the film will connect with religious audiences. However, these claims remain just chatter on social media, and the film’s actual strengths and weaknesses can only be judged after its theatrical release.
