“There are instances serials freely using our film songs. We were okay with it. But now they have used a track of an unreleased film. To audience it will appear like I have copied from that serial going further”, said RP.
He warned of legal consequences to the makers of the TV serial. “I am going to sue them for 50 Lakhs for illegally using my song. I will send the notices very soon to the director and producer”, said an angry RP Patnaik. His anger is very much justified.
