Salman Khan Ventures will develop a Rs 10000 crore integrated township project and a film studio project in Telangana. The plan includes a championship golf course, luxury leisure spaces, nature trails, premium residences and a state of the art studio for feature and OTT films and series.
A press release stated that the venture will also include a race course and curated nature trails. The studio will feature post production facilities and talent development programmes, creating a full ecosystem for filmmaking.
Telangana is hosting the Telangana Rising Global Summit to attract large investments and support its goal of a $3 trillion economy. As part of the event, Salman Khan attended the Indian Supercross Racing League Season 2 where his company announced its investment plans. Revanth Reddy and Salman Khan also met recently at an event in Mumbai.
This marks the first time a Bollywood celebrity is investing in a film studio in Telangana. There is also talk of Ajay Devgn being in discussions with the state government to set up a studio in Hyderabad.
