Samajavaragamana Producer Approaches Council

Rajesh-Danda-Anil-Sunkara-Gayatri-SatishFor a while now, things have been heating up between Vizag-based distributor Satish and producer Anil Sunkara. Now, it’s the turn of Samajavaragamana producer Rajesh Danda to enter the fray.

Rajesh has approached the Producers’s Council and complained about Satish, saying the latter hasn’t submitted the collections statement of Samajavaragamana which he distributed in Uttarandhra. He alleges that Satish hasn’t settled the collections amount either. He says he approached the local association but there was no progress and hence, he has approached the Council now.

On the other hand, Satish has been saying producer Anil Sunkara gave him Samajavaragamana rights to compensate MahaSamudram losses. In response, Rajesh argues he is the producer of Samajavaragamana and he is the one who signed on the official papers of the film. He’s questioning how Anil can give his film to Satish.

Rajesh is demanding Satish to submit written proof that Anil gave him Samajavaragamana to compensate for earlier losses.

There’s a parallel narrative that Satish himself told the film exhibitors that he did not buy Samajavaragamana Uttarandhra rights and all he did was release the film on 5% commission basis and collected money from the exhibitors saying he would submit to the producer Rajesh Danda.

Satish and Anil clashed following Agent debacle and the former even approached the court. Anil the argued that Satish submitted forgery documents to the court.

In the case of Samajavaragamana, Rajesh is the producer of the film and Anil is just the presenter.

Satish on the other hand, flips his argument as one time he says Samajavaragamana is as given to him to cover Agent’s losses and other time, he says it is to cover MahaSamudram losses.

Rajesh is demanding Satish to produce the papers of Anil Sunkara giving him Samajavaragamana Vizag rights.

Rajesh has now approached the council and is of the implication that he is go to any extent to get his theatrical returns for Samajavaragamana.
