When the Telugu film industry was starving for a hit film, a film came out of nowhere and surprised at the box office in terms of ROI (return on investment). Especially in the US, the Sree Vishnu-starrer Samajavaragamana has turned out to be a big blockbuster.
Samajavaragamana is performing exceptionally well, collecting around $790,000 so far in the US. On its second Saturday, it collected nearly $100,000, which is an outstanding achievement. A non-star cast small-budget film making $100K on its second Saturday in the US is nothing short of a miracle.
Now, the question arises whether it can touch the one-million-dollar mark in the USA. Though it is quite difficult to get there, the way Samajavaragamana has been performing for the last 10 days, nothing is impossible. There are no big-star films releasing next week, which should be helpful for the film to get close to the $1 Million mark.
It can be easily said that Samajavaragamana is no less than a jackpot for the US distributor.
