Even before the wedding, there was a buzz that Samantha would be playing the protagonist in the Telugu remake of Kannada movie ‘U Turn’. But then, Sam’s marriage had pushed the project ahead and now we hear that the remake is soon going on to the sets.

We have our own apprehensions as the reviews on the Kannada movie focused on the drawbacks of the movie despite having a gripping narrative. Most importantly, the way the pre-climax and climax were handled in a clichéd manner drew the attention of the critics.

Going by those reports, changes must be made to the script to make it engaging and also to cater to the tastes of the Telugu audiences. The heroine of the movie has got an author-backed role and that could be the reason why Samantha might be back to the remake of this average movie.
