Coming to the point, wherein the problem lies in the fact that there are several self anointed film bodies in the State at present and each one is coming up with its own representation and list of requests for the formation of TDFC. And one can easily see that all these bodies aren’t united for a single cause but divided alleging each other of being playing black sheep in the fraternity.
There is Telangana Film Chamber of Commerce represented by Vijeyender Reddy, Telangana Cinema Force represented by film maker Shankar (‘Jai Bolo Telangana’ fame) and there is Telanagana Producers Council and a couple of others too. One of the bodies had burnt the effigy of the president of the other body alleging him to be pro-Andhra.
And one Cine body alleges that there are ‘black sheep’ within the industry who are trying to safe guard the interests of Andhra distributors and film makers and even some Andhra film makers are trying to stall bifurcation of Telugu Cinema and emergence of seperate Telangana Film Industry. All the representations and requests (and even the allegations and reservations might have reached his ear) are with the government and it is KCR who is going to decide the formation of TDFC (Telangana) finally.
