Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan is riding high in the success of Jawan and Pathaan. His next film Dunki with maverick Rajkumar Hirani at the helm is set for release on 22 December.
Ahead of Dunki’s release, SRK’s wife Gauri Khan, who co-produced this year’s Rs 1000 crore grossers Pathan and Jawan has received summons from the Enforcement Directorate today.
But what needs to be noted is that the ED notice is not related to the box office collections of SRK’s blockbuster films this year or his upcoming film, Dunki.
Gauri received an ED notice For endorsing Lucknow-based real estate company Tulsiani Group which is accused of embezzling Rs 30 Crore. Gauri Khan, who is the brand ambassador of the company and she has been served the ED notice for the malice created by the real-estate firm.
A section of netizens are claiming that the ED notices are for posting fake collections for Pathan and Jawan, and also orchestrating bulk corporate bookings for Dunki to pump up the buzz. But there is no truth in this narrative, considering the nature of the ED notices that were served.
