Vulgar Shows Rocking Tamil Channels

Recently, several shows on the Tamil channels are trending that give out misinformed sex related advice. In a time when sex education is being given a lot of importance, shows like these are propagating incorrect information out to the world.

Programmes like these usually go this way: the anchor of the show will receive a call or a letter from a viewer who has a problem that needs solving. The anchor, usually a vulgarly dressed female, will then refer to the on-set doctor for a solution to the viewer’s sexual problem.

One such show is Antharangam which features anchor Shakeela, previously a popular adult film actress, and Dr M Palani and the duo start giving outrageous advises to individuals bothered about their vulgar acts to spice the show for youngsters who watch the show.
