Victory Venkatesh has been a top star for a long time with many records to his credit. Not for nothing has he been part of the top 4 stars of the previous gen. However off late his films haven’t had good run at the box office, some of them were big financial disasters. A lot of that had to do with the budget of the film as they far exceeded the actor’s market at that time.
It seems like the actor has taken a notice of this issue and have gone complete tight on budget aspect. This can already be seen in effect for the Drushyam film which according to sources has been made at a shockingly low 3 Cr. With the last couple of ‘solo’ Venkatesh films being big on budget and less on revenue this kind of cut in budget was expected but one never expected such drastic cut for sure.
