Shruti Haasan to do an item number?

Is Shruti Haasan going to do an item number in an upcoming biggie? Is Shruti Haasan doing the item number, the sensational news that music director SS Thaman was talking about? This is the latest news that is creating buzz in the industry currently – Shruti Haasan will be doing an item number in Superstar Mahesh Babu’s Aagadu.

Shruti Haasan has so far in her career not done any item number for any film which she has not been related too. In the past the actress appeared in a music video for her father’s film but that film had music by Shruti Haasan herself. Sources say, currently talks are going on but nothing has been finalized officially. An official confirmation is expected in a day or two as the music director suggested. If she accepts the offer though, it will be interesting to see Shruti Haasan do an item number with Mahesh Babu, right before doing a full-fledged film with him
