Siddharth beats Southern Stars in Twitter race

Actor Siddharth has beaten Southern stars like Mahesh Babu (725K), Dhanush (669K) etc in the social networking site Twitter and become the first South Indian actor to reach the landmark of 1 Million followers. Mahesh Babu was the only competition for Siddharth as both were close on the heels of each other during the past but Siddharth with his national reach has edged past the other in the race to be the first. Mahesh Babu is currently the second best among the South actors. Following these two are the Kolaveri sensation Dhanush from Tamil films.

Coming to Telugu films other known celebs who are on the micro blogging site are Nagarjuna (493K) and he has the best Twitter following after Mahesh Babu. Then there are the Manchu’s, Mohan Babu (132K), Manoj (108K) and Lakshmi Prasanna (279K). Among actress Shruti Haasan (905K) is getting close to the 1 Million mark and she could be the next one to hit it among the South stars at the current rate. Trisha (757K) and Samantha (440K) at second and third positions, round up the top three among actresses.
