Star heroine Sreeleela recently participated in an International Yoga Day event held in Mumbai. The event was attended by several prominent personalities, including Maharashtra Chief Minister’s wife Amruta Fadnavis and Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor.
However, a video from the event has now gone viral on social media and sparked a debate among fans of the actress.
Sreeleela, who has become one of the most popular young actresses in Telugu cinema, attended the event as a special guest and took part in the yoga sessions. After the yoga activities concluded, the guests came together on stage and spoke about the benefits of yoga and how it helps improve both physical and mental well-being.
The controversy reportedly began during a photo session after the event.
According to videos circulating on social media, Amruta Fadnavis, her daughter, and Sreeleela were posing together for photographers. At one point, some media photographers requested separate photographs of only Amruta Fadnavis and her daughter.
Following that request, Amruta appeared to have ordered Sreeleela to move away so the photographs could be taken.
The viral clip has led to mixed reactions online. A section of social media users and Sreeleela fans felt that the actress was not treated respectfully and claimed that she was asked to step aside rudely.
Many fans have expressed disappointment over the incident and slammed the way the interaction appeared in the video. Some users argued that Sreeleela, being a guest at the event, deserved to be addressed more politely.
Some fans even commented that this is exactly why they prefer seeing Sreeleela work in South Indian cinema, where she is celebrated like a glam goddess, rather than trying to establish herself in Bollywood.
Sreeleela has not reacted to the controversy so far. Amruta Fadnavis has also not issued any statement regarding the viral video.
