Any actress delivering two all-time blockbusters on a pan-India level would typically have producers lining up to sign her. However, one actress, despite her massive hits, hasn’t received many offers. We’re talking about KGF heroine Srinidhi Shetty.
KGF was a huge blockbuster in 2018, earning 250 crores worldwide. KGF 2 went even further, becoming an all-time pan-India blockbuster with a 1200 crore worldwide gross. This kind of success is a dream debut for any actress, and everyone expected Srinidhi Shetty to quickly rise to the top ranks of heroines. But that didn’t happen.

After KGF, she played a forgettable role in Vikram’s Cobra. Since then, she has had no significant offers. She was reported to be doing a film with Siddhu Jonnalagadda titled Telusu Kada, where she was supposed to play a secondary role to Raashii Khanna, but there have been no updates about that project.
Srinidhi Shetty is beautiful and glamorous, yet success seems to elude her. This could be due to the silly role she was given in the KGF series, which may have left little impact because of poor writing and execution. Director Prashanth Neel appears to struggle with heroine characterization, as seen in Salaar as well.

While Prashanth Neel’s directorial skills brought tremendous success to the KGF franchise, it seems his approach to developing strong female characters might be lacking, leaving actresses like Srinidhi Shetty unsuccessful.
