The Jai Balayya song from Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy got a decent response from the audience but much more was expected from Thaman. Many criticized it for being a little outdated and having Osey Ramulamma vibes.
On the other hand, Megastar Waltair Veerayya’s Boss Party song received a better reception, though it was also trolled. The first round was won by Devi Sri Prasad over Thaman, though by a very small margin.
Now the next single, Suguna Sundari, from the film will be out soon, and everyone is waiting to see if Thaman will score better in the second round.
The song looks to be a romantic dance number picturized on Balakrishna and Shruti Haasan in foreign locales. It doesn’t look like a song that Balakrishna fans will be too excited about.
However, there is also a talk in the industry that songs don’t matter much in a Balakrishna film and it is the BGM that makes all the difference. Thaman delivered an exceptional background score in Akhanda, and this time also, people are more excited about how Thaman will score the BGM in Veera Simha Reddy.
