Superstar gives explanation to court on defamation

Though superstar Rajnikanth’s films were mired in controversies of late, one of the controversy is not on him directly because one financier by name Mukund Botra dragged the superstar into controversy because his son-in-law Dhanush’s father Kastoori Raja allegedly guaranteed the fiancier that Rajni would pay the loan if he fails to do so.

On this complaint, the court issued notices to Kastoori Raja and Rajnikanth to submit their explanation on the charges made by the financier. Rajnikanth responded to the notice and in his explanation said that Mr.Botra has made allegation to defame him.

Rajni further asked if the financier has legal document to say that he is either the guarantor or the borrower and hence in no way is responsible for the loan even if Kasturi Raja used his name. Rajni also has a point in saying why the fiancier hasn’t approached him when Kasturi Raja used his name.
