Director in Disaster Form, Hype Sky-High

Tamil star, Suriya has been in desperate need for success in the theatrical space. And in an encouraging development for him, things are looking promising for his next film which has been titled Kanguva.

Kanguva is a periodic action epic with Suriya in the lead role. The film has garnered good hype already, thanks to its interesting poster.

However, the catch here is that the director, Siva is in disaster form. His previous films Vivegam, Viswasam, and Annatthe were all poorly rated films.

Regardless of Siva’s disaster form, Kanguva has garner good hype thanks to the impressive promotional material.

The posters have clearly implied that the film is a period action picture and that is working in the favor of the film as it has gained a round of positivy already before its release.

Suriya is doing the job with Kanguva in terms of promotional material goes as people are expecting something big from him with this Siva directorial. But still, there are doubts about the director as no one is for certain that he might deliver the winning product.

The glimpse video of the film is to be unveiled on the 23rd of this month. The onus is on Siva to hit it out of the park with this video. Can he amp it up further with this video and then deliver the goods with the film? We shall see.
